About Dr. Lyle F. Renodin
As a management consultant, business advisor and educator, Dr. Renodin enthusiastically served his clients, students and friends during his entire career. Dr. Renodin received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Siena College in 1951. After serving a two-year term in the United States Army during the Korean War, he worked in public accounting while continuing graduate education. He received a master's degree in Business Administration in 1956 from Siena College and became a certified public accountant in 1957. In 1970 he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics from New York University.

Dr. Renodin, served as a partner in the accounting firm of Walquist, Renodin & Miller from 1960 until 1987. During this time he served as management and financial consultant for various organizations including religious congregations, health care facilities and health systems. From 1969 until 1976, Dr. Renodin, served as associate professor of management at Pace University Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Renodin's roots with the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany go back to his early elementary school education in rural upstate New York. He never forgot his teachers and their kindness to him and to his family, and through his work over the years, has returned their generosity one hundred-fold. It was his vision, together with that of the Congregation's leadership, which helped to establish a retirement fund for members of the Congregation, which persists to this day. His wise counsel and direction over many years moved the Congregation when establishing the Foundation in 1998, to name it in his honor.

Dr. Renodin resides in the Albany, New York area, and continues to serve as a mentor and advisor to the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.
